Well, I just hit the 10,000 word milestone in my nanowrimo novel!
When I jumped into it (just before it started) I was not sure I could get to 10,000 words by the end of November, let alone the 50,000 word goal for the month, so hitting 10k at this point is very satisfying. In fact, I did not write on NOV 3rd or 4th at all, so these 10k words came over the coarse of 3 days!
Anyway, I am excited as I have not written creatively since 2004 and decided I would jump in on this challenge to really test myself – to see if I was really cut out for writing when forced to, because I obviously haven’t been doing it when there was no pressure.
