As some of you may know, I tossed my hat into the NaNoWriMo ring which officially began today.
The challenge, for those unfamiliar with it, is to write a novel in one month (November). A novel, as it is defined by this challenge, contains 50,000 words. Divide that by the number of days in the month and you need to average about 1,667 words every day in November.
Well, with day one under my belt and 3,620 words in, I’m feeling pretty confident tonight (well, there are moments of confidence really).
With that said, this will consume much of my free time this month. The number of posts here will be light unfortunately as writing time will be a precious commodity. Even now, I’m wishing this word count could go towards my goal.
I’m still all over Twitter, so you will see me there, but otherwise… it’s going to be a little quite here for a bit.
