What good acts do they see their character doing? What selfish act might get them into some trouble? What new soft spot would drive them to act? Then move on to the game type that might interest them the most: More political intrigue? Delving into far away dark reaches? Defending the homeland from outsiders? Uncovering lost secrets to anchient places? Rescuing the family or a love interest or helping a stranger? Mix the answers from these two steps and continue... Oh, and I love your condition cards, btw. :-) You might try asking them what kind of hero they want their characters to become.
