Weem’s 4e D&D Combat Sheet
by weem on July 1, 2010
Do you ever play in a game, only to realize later that you forgot you could have done a number of things during a combat encounter? I know I have, so I made the Combat Sheet for 4th Editions Dungeons and Dragons. Essentially, I write out what my powers DO because that is what is really important… the name of the power is not. The way the sheet is laid out, the information is organized into sections depending on the situation you are in – whether you are attacking, or defending.

Nice. Very useful. I can see this being used in my games. Thanks for sharing

Very nice, way to easy to forget. I’ll share with my players.
Very quick though – you should be using the words “effects” rather than “affects.”
Cheers

This is super-cool! It might be better if the hit/miss sections weren’t clearly delineated, and we could circle them (like with your interrupt/reaction selector). That way a character with more miss gotchas can fill it out effectively too. Not sure if that makes sense the way I write it, I could mock up something if it’s not clear.

Very nice layout. I like the practical and functional approach to a combat sheet. I am going to forward this to my players who often say they could have done something last round. I also think this will be helpful at Gen Con as I will be playing characters I am not as familiar, so a nice structure for notes on powers and what I can do in combat.
Thanks!

It’s great, and I plan to use it immediately, but a PDF that you can fill out would be absolutely great, so we could be saved the time of gimping it.
